I think I liked FC more overall

the finale might change your mind but i can see why

It's basically the KH1 vs KH2 dynamic to me, you know?

sc drags a lot more and doesn't really pursue its focus

KH2 improves on many aspects of KH1, but I still like the KH1 package more

SC improved on many things from FC, but I think FC so far has had my preferred package

Of course, I haven't beat SC yet so this isn't set in stone

this does make me very curious to see how you'll react to sky third

The fact that it's mostly gameplay instead of story scares me

Because Sky gameplay isn't the peak of enjoyability, to put it mildly

I'll be honest, i recommend third on Normal mode

Doing FC on nightmare was annoying at points but at least the story was rewarding whenever I managed to pull through

Honestly, if I had chosen nightmare for SC, I think I would've dropped it

Third is a very different game from pretty much every other Trails title. It's a lot more of a personal one game narrative with a different protagonist

it might or might not be

you might want to play cold steel on hard maybe since those games are super easy compared to sky

but i think you should just do sky third and crossbell on normal
