Had to do a couple extra things, fill out an application but it was worth it

tho... my freshman roommate came back with a concussion one time so i can't say i was the best roommate cause I had no idea haha

tis why it helped when i moved into an apartment with my best buds in uni

each had their own room

so what it was for my school Alex was that the first 2 years you gotta spend in a dorm, after that you gotta find an apartment

first year i did a random selection, with a guy who dropped out 2nd semester
2nd year i found a guy who became my best bud and we then we lived together for the next 3.5 years

I’ve always been lucky to have a school close to where my parents live so I never had to stay there over nights

my parents tried to keep me close, but as much as i love them I HAD to leave the nest

Oh yeah of course if you feel like you need it it’s not a bad thing

I finished my studies but I still don’t live on my own personally for now

it will, but this is also a really good time to begin to understand who you are and find a circle that really gels with you

calling home often helped me a lot, and if you have the ability, visiting helped too

I'm super lucky because I only live about an hour and a half away from home so I can go home on weekends when I need to

that's exactly how it was for me!

and it was perfect

far enough to explore and get to know new people and find my lifestyle, but close enough to have mom's cooking and dad's advice
