I was diagnosed at a young age and it helped a little. I was given an IEP and some minor provisions in school. Extra test time really helped.

Unfortunately, that didn’t fix dated teaching methods and classroom culture.

Big reason why I want to be a teacher. I want to pick up the slack of the public school system. Even if I can only help a little.

My psych teacher was very openly political and he was the coolest.

He taught a whole section on the psychology on how to be happy and recommended this podcast to listen to (A licensed psychiatrist is the host) and taught the psychology and mental health of LGBTQ+ people.

He was so firetrucking cool.

10/10 guy.
