You can tell your friend "Hey, can we slow down?"

And they'll do that

But some tanks in FFXIV have adopted this whole.."Tank rushing" tactic which...ugh

it's stressful on the healers

because everyone has to keep up with the tank

and what this tactic is that, the tank simple rushes forward until the dungeon needs us to stop and complete something

Hmm, see this is the issue, I don't want to be stressed playing a game haha

darkness

I wouldn't

I would stick to filthy DPS

though, since healers and tanks are always in demand, they have shorter queue times, so DPS kinda have to stick to longer queue times.. unless, ofc, a dps teams up with a healer or tank

But since I don't like to do that content with randos, I don't care about queue times

here's an example.. let's say healer and tank queue is like 3 minutes and DPS queue is 10-15 minutes(that's just an example, someitmes it could be longer)

If you're DPS and you team up with a healer or tank, now you get to hop in at that 3 minute queue instead

Yeah

I do know this from WoW ?

But wow has nothing to do for the casual player, I don't know about FF ?

Ah, but that aside, playing Tank is pretty simple actually, you just need to watch where you posiiton the boss

it's less stressful other than "i just need to make sure i keep aggro"

oh, forc asual players in FFXIV, you basically have story to go throuh"

and usually people are always doing the story at times so you're not alone

But once you've done that

AAh, you mean that? Well.. There's daily dungeon roulette, whcih is the dungeons for the day that gives you some extra exp and gil than normal.. There's side quests, here and there. And there's taking up a new job or two

As well as new side quests and raids they might add inbetween expansions

though, a lot of it comes down to dungeoning, really, once its all done. They're not all tough

Hmm

Still dungeons though

even the ones that say "Hard mode", only say that because you're lvl 50 and up

Better than raids but, again with randos, I'd rather not

Eh, i know i described the worse, but usually, randos know what they have to do ah

your only real worry is if the healer can do their job

because healers literally make or break if the team survives usually

I'm more worried about myself doing a poor job and getting shouted at ah

It's an internal meme that White Mage is basially, lowkey, God

Because if you do you'll get the brunt of the rage if they lose.

oof, marly knows it

but nah, if you're DPS or Tank, you're not ormally shouted at, maybe a little more as tank, but neve as much as healer would be @Novayon

lol... that suddenly reminds me of tanks who helicopter the boss and it's just

why you do this?

pls stop
