Uncharted 4 was fairly late too

I’m not sure,it must have been.. tbh, it supports the fact I think developers pushed MS and Song to put out new consoles already

Which was detrimental in a way

I’d say Xbox X and the Pro are basically what the consoles of this gen shoulda been. Mind you,I don’t regret the purchase,and for most part, it’s been a worthwhile one for me

You can say in hindsight the ps3 slim was the real console of that gen

There have always been upgrades to the base versions

I thought all it did was add space

It got rid of the overheat problem from the fat ones

Well beyond issues like that..

I refer mainly to power

that has nothing to do with quality of games

At least Sony and MS wont doing what Nintendo did when their upgrade hit,anytime soon..

New 3DS got popular enough over the base model that devs basically stopped trying to optimize the games to run well on base models at all

developers need to learn to stop making games console exclusive

Exclusivity is the reason why there are consoles like this to begin with

Developers aren't the one who's making that decision.

That's the publishers.
