Some of my problems would be resolved if I could just take it out

especially because 9/10 times replacing the battery is the easiest solution

i put my old xperia play on charge

Technically you could try to, but they scare you into not doing it

Try this then, let the battery completely die out

I dont think it will work...

As in, no more charge in it left

And then charge it for a day and see if it works normally again

might take some time but sure

tbh i just want the phone to stay on long enough for me to do a backup

Ah yeah, those usually takes some time

yeah :/

most of my pictures are on the sd card anyway, so that's okay

i can't afford to lose my contacts tho

I've had this list since 2010

what cloud

and how if the phone doesn't switch on

pain

that is the crux of the issue pain

it's stuck in a reboot loop

i smacked it

multiple times

Tell it you’ll send it to the scrap heap if it doesn’t listen to you

basically, the phone randomly restarts, and once it restarts it gets stuck on the screen with the logo

ad nauseum

or ad hoc

or ad hominem

whichever one it is

i think so

but unfortunately phones these days don't have removable batteries

which is really firetrucking stupid

they haven't had them for a goof 4/5 years now

they haven't had them for a good 4/5 years now

I mean, you can technically remove them, pretty sure.. but Apple be like “You could hurt yourself if you do so don’t”

Even tho if you do nothing crazy you won’t get hurt

there is literally not a removable cover

i physically can't reach the battery

xperia xa2

sony

hmm i know what they'll say

if i give the phone to them it'll come back wiped

or even just a replacement

FB_IMG_1559313061518.jpg

That's illegal

doesn't stop it from happening

yeah i'll see about that

I can't think of anything else I'll miss if a do a hard reset other than my contacts

maybe my memes but those can be replaced

from now on I'm keeping an address book

ZOMG

IT'S ON

Well, try what I said earlier

OKAY let's see how long it switches on for

Hopefully it will be alive long enough for you to save some stuff

thing is, i don't even touch the phone and it switches off

Btw

358/2 Days turns 10 years old today
