Well they lost this console generation, and with the next soon approaching they need to pull out the stops

Obviously they're already been making power plays like Halo on PC/Steam

people need to understand that MS dont care for exclusives anymore

they care about making a social and consumer friendly environment

exclusivity is in general dead except nintendo games

and sony

They want to become the 'platform' for games
