grandmother's not too fond of animals

rather animals around the house

well she did have a cat a few years ago

but it died due to an accident

so I think she is kind of doesn't want that again

After losing a pet, people often don't want anymore/want to replace them.

There is the likelihood of dealing w/ that loss again.

not really, just so long as it's potty trained or have to potty train at probably
