At first, he would bank on it for publicity, so it was seen as a stunt, even though he clearly displayed signs of a legitimate conflict w/in, but more recently, he showed regret and remorse w/ a harrowing goodbye that seemed less like a joke.

Much of the YT partnership revenue is generated from views on videos w/ connected ads and ad clicks.
