It was referring to Tony’s intelligence and realizing there’s something far bigger than himself

I.E. the “Endgame”

Outer space

maybe knowledge outscaling emotions ?

And Thanos is “cursed with knowledge” because he believes the universe needs correcting and he’s the only one to realize it

they both do what they seem to be the right thing without thinking about their daughters

So Thanos basically empathizes a bit with Tony kinda and he says

“I hope they remember you”

They both are willing to sacrifice themselves and possibly everything without thinking to do what they feel they just

Tony wants to defend earth and by extension he realizes he has to save an entire galaxy

And Thanos thinks the only way to correct life is by wiping away half of it

but how does thanos know about tony?
