Been rewatching it as well. Currently at Dress Rosa.

I didn't find Skypiea a drag at all my first watch through, I just think it drag at points and had some particularly stupid moments

Like Luffy going after Nami who was going up the beanstalk because she thought that Luffy was still in Enel's Ship

That part was just silly

But I'd argue that Skypiea was essential I'm giving more weight to Water 7.

It wouldn't have been as believable for Robin to have done what she did otherwise

Hmm, the arc that made me actually fall in love was Skypiea, Alabasta was great but Skypiea just sold me that unwavering sense of pure adventure.

pops in OMG YES SAME ESTO

Alabasta for me actually. Loved that arc and still do. Crocodile is one of the best OP villains imo. I'm glad he's still around.

Like, no real set up to any of it, the Straw Hats are just out there on the sea and a ship falls from the sky

Yeah

Like the search for the ticking bomb

@KH-Queen sorasunglasses ?

One thing I noticed in Alabasta is how no one died

Like, for real? That bird dude (Kozo?) made that sacrifice and you'll take that away from him?

I can see that.

Does that make Crocodile and Alabastard?

Oh, don't even remember me of that

*remind

Oh no, I said the forbidden word

Well, anyways, when Conis' dead came back I was just baffled

"I woke up in the White Sea"
Me: how the heck did you get here then

Definitely

It was such a great turning point for Conis

Single handedly made her go from fairly tame girl to "I'll threaten to blow y'all up if you don't move."

Wow, that's awesome

10 hour long demo? Whew

I remember I dwelled mostly on demos when I had my 360

So many different ones

It feels like there are so fewer of them this gen in comparison

That's how DQ11 Demo mafia works

It's an old memw

It's an old meme

Just ignore it

It's a 2019 meme.

It's old if people don't use it anymore

kairiwut

I guess I don't have the patience to try out new demos anymore

Memes die young

I played 5 minutes of the DMCV demo before going "I don't understand how this works" and giving up

I need to get my drive to game back

Maybe the PS5 hype cycle will get me back on that train

The news seem spicy (even too spicy to be believable). Like the rumor that the PS5's GPU will be almost as powerful as a RTX 2060

I don't know if I believe that, but it would make sense considering future-proofing

My biggest wish is that they get rid of the PS4's inherent jankness, I'm sure browsing the PSN shouldn't be so laggy
