I'd describe my experience so far as 95% extremely enjoyable experience, 5% firetrucking stupid dipshitery.

I do think the combat is shat on a bit too much but

There are times where it acts up

The combat is not terrible.

There are some specific enemies and bosses that are though.

Just need it to resemble this a bit more

Like that Chariot boss on floor 14.

That one just takes the piss and then some

I lucked out and beat it at level 6

Dodged its attack 4 times

Cant wait for esto to try

But it does give away something big

Yeah it's just an optional thing

But no matter, you can only truly ever have a girl as a waifu if you take her out on a date in the mall and fight her in a bombastic weeb RPG.

In fact it's not really a spoil since most ppl dont touch it till their 2nd playthrough
