since they were hunting down the player to find ven

no that was him dealing with darkness one of the 6

not darklings

Pretty much my logic in skipping them, if all KHUx was giving us was a 2d version of an existing movie it made more sense to skip it imo

yeah those three are toast

The last use of Darklings were the ones that took over the Cy-bugs while they were in Sugar Rush

There's no way those three weirdos could survive Mr. Glo-Stick

ill have to rewatch that but there's still more darklings if i recall. they keep coming

only those three show up in march's scene

there have been way more throughout the game though

i mean dark chirithy absorbs three and they are defeated

we see a fair few while we're climbing the tower with skuld iirc

in cutscenes, there's always only three. but walking around the tower, it seems like there's more popping up everywhere. or maybe they're warping so it looks like there's a lot of them?? me dunno

thats why i think there's always darkings in set of 3 at a times sometime 4 which is basically they arent the same darklings from each time

yeah i think its implied there are multiple ones

they are meant to be the wielders that have fallen to darkness

the main problem is though...

they already found ven

but i guess you could handwave it by saying at this time he still had darkness within him? so they sensed a pure light around, but with darkness still within him they didnt believe Ven to be the one they were looking for?
