they princesses can absolutely be affected by darkness, in fact they are the most vulnerable to darkness

Huh? I know there are the 7 darknesses as characters in khux, but they also made a point of it being 13 darknesses & 7 lights in kh3.

The 7 deadliest Darknesses of the 13 are locked into the Foretellers' hearts. Then the 6 are the ones we see interact with the Union Leaders, 4 of them trapped in the portal cable, one in Ven, and one somewhere unknown.

But their hearts are devoid of darkness. They were even able to keep the darkness at bay in Hollow Bastion back in kh1. That doesn’t scream being the, “most vulnerable to darkness.”
