right before you end your turn is actually a great way to keep your stats

But, the Special doesn't get counted as Upright damage, so it's fine on round 15.

second chance is an ability I only use now for special occasions, thanks pets

even better

I love ultimate form sora

Round 15 doesn't have a reflecter, so buffs have to be set up again each turn.

if only final form sora medal could be this OP

hey I did it thanks Incendyne

worked like a charm

You don't...

your supposed to die when you use ultimate form in the last slot

because your strength buff will carry over

But it's before the last one and the one I borrowed had EA, so I technically didn't finish the turn.

Not sure if depleting the counter has the same effect

For round 14

For round 15, I used UF Sora's SN so I'd get the SAB % boost since absorption didn't matter as their HP was full anyway. On the next turn, I used Xion's SN to clear the STR debuffs that were placed on me followed by Xemnas's burst for the buffs and % boost. There are some gauge traits so I had watch which Specials and EAs to use or skip and even use some SNs for gauge restoration, saving some for the third turn. The first slot medal can probably be filled by a copy medal or another buffer that had gauge restoration effects.

marking it with spoiler tags but.. chirithy be like "here's an existential crisis"

so uh round 13 of new hades cup, how do I do it?

just to clarify from earlier: str stacking (where you intentionally die and carry over str boosts) requires you to be killed before your turn ends. not sure if that was specifically said anywhere, but i wanted to make sure people didn't just go "why isn't this working even though i'm dying?"

i've been off discord most of today because work's a bitch

btw kazin, what was that you were saying about def boost skills earlier? where you should use them and whatnot

is there a way to kill myself before the end of the turn in round 13?

haven't had a chance to try the hades cup. what are the enemies? do any of them have counters or reflect?

most of the late ones have counters to stuff like reverse and upright

like the last 2

have upright and reverse reflect

and round 13 is just 2 very powerful ghosts that gain health back from speed medals

if they only have absorb and not reflect, and no counters, then there's no good way to do str stacking

to be perfectly honest, your buffers and defense-specific medals are the best places to put both your def boost skills as well as your second chance skills. reason being is that those medals, for the most part, aren't designed to do damage, so atk boost skills are more or less wasted on them

sometimes you'll see someone with a kairi a that has like, an ab5max+sp1, but odds are that came equipped from a previous banner and they just never got rid of the skill

in other words, it's not something you want to go for intentionally

smart move. to be perfectly honest, def boosts are only useful in pvp. which isn't to say they aren't useful otherwise, but considering how much these event enemies and coliseum enemies do, no def boost skill is gonna help

Yo!
