If he had no time constraints, no Square and Disney breathing down his neck, and no development problems, then what story would he actually write for the game? It's fun to consider

On one hand, I absolutely adore how expansive and detailed the Disney worlds are, I just wish the same treatment went towards the original worlds

maybe the real question is:
what if ff7 remake didn't exist?

And if the original worlds are shafted, then the story itself gets shafted because for the first 80% of it, everything is relegated to cutscenes that you just watch and have no hand in half the time
