Axel's original VA has unfortunately died. I think Square Enix will dedicate Kingdom Hearts 4 to his memory.

No idea, I've just seen som clips, and he sounds close enough

What actually interesting was that Reno was voiced by Quinton Flynn in Advent Children and Crisis Core

I remember Quinton kept complaining on his Twitter about the recasting. So it would be low-key hilarious if they recast him in KH as well using the same guy they recast him with in 7R
