Like I said, butterfly effect. Riku could have not predicted that in any way unless he had a crytsal ball.

The whole thing has me worried that KH4 will have a good ending and a bad ending

Ansem would’ve claimed Destiny Islands one way or another, he just managed to latch onto Riku’s desires to expand his horizons

That could be KH4

The bad ending could be Sora is left to stay forever in Quadratum

The good ending could be Sora returning to the islands

That is what I am predicting

But I think it was clarified that the "good ending" was canon, so that shouldn't be an issue?

Yes but if ReMind has done it, then KH4 will probably do it too

As well as other future KH games

It wasn't really a "good or bad" ending, it was more of a "haha Yozora one shot you" outcome vs the "haha you beat Yozora and hes not even selling it" outcome.

Idk, I saw the ReMind thing as Square leaving themselves a couple pathways forward. They might’ve not settled on how they wanted to go into KH4 yet.

Regardless, one ending is clarified as being canon and one isn't, so multiple endings should be a non-issue

Do you think Sora would be amazed by what Quadratum has to offer and would often compare life there to life in the islands?

Or would he feel homesick about the islands?
