I think that’s what makes KH2 so interesting and why the finale is so cool. Xemnas is kinda like the KH equivalent of a mob boss in that way and, like in most mob movies, you see how desperate he is at the end. It’s pretty cool

i still think KH1 has the better final boss

The world of nothingness in terms of structure is to me one of the best staged boss fights in any video game

The beauty of Final Xemnas comes down to two factors, its presentation and its build up. No KH final boss comes to close to being anywhere near as cinematic and has as much of a climactic struggle. And KH2 had such finality in how it's written, that the fight feels 110% earned

For a PS2 game, running against flying building was quite awesome too.
