Right, I don't mind that in general because it just shows he's human really, a normal person that has to come across really tough decisions but tries to stay positive about it the best they can and the best part his close friends know this and he's not perfect but do the best they can to support him

I wanna talk about Vanitas and Ventus for a little bit.

Actually, I wanna talk about Vanitas and the WF trio.

Go for it.

Vanitas, if he was going to hypothetically be redeemed and live with the Wayfinder trio, is most likely going to bond with Terra. Ventus actively shuts down the idea of them being two separate people, maybe having misplaced resentment at Vanitas from Xehanort, and Vanitas is content with staying in darkness and shadow. I can guarantee, if he was fighting someone else, he could have been redeemed or at least told he could have a chance.

Aqua obviously hates the guy, and Ventus doesn't think too fondly of him either. Looking at Xehanort's notes/character files/unused lines in their KH3 boss fight, he obviously has fond (platonic) feelings towards Terra. Even though it was emotions and experiences from Ventus. Plus, Terra knows what it's like to be manipulated by Xehanort and could probably sympathize with Vanitas's experiences.

I really do think some of Vantias's emotions and fond feelings towards Terra are genuine. Ventus just steered him in the direction of seeing him as a big brother figure, as much as he loathes to admit it.

I also low-key think Ventus and Vanitas have firetrucked up views of respect as well. But that's a different story/rant for another day.

There's also the possibility of Aqua being able to bond with Vanitas even before Ventus because, again, she could sympathize with being trapped and falling into darkness. Despite Vanitas fighting dirty and being a jerk in both BBS and KH3.

Maybe it's because he sees himself in Vanitas. Both literally and metaphorically.

But that makes me wonder, what does Vanitas's heart station look like? By the end of 3, Ventus is a whole person, having healed thank to Sora. Would Vanitas still have Ventus in his anchors? Or would they be completely barren? Does he even have a heart station anymore, or is he truly gone?

The official KH art give me hope Vanitas is a traitor.

IDK, he was positioned with the traitors in the official art Nomura drew. I'm hopefully we see more of him, or that's just coincidental because he ran out of room on the paper. :"DDD

vanitas would be perfect to include in the story because sora is the type to never give up on people, and that would be sweet

also i hope xemnas gets some more screen time ngl...i always felt he had issues with not being able to feel anything (due to his creation) and that one part in kh3 had me ;v;

I don't think Xemnas is capable of redemption, it would be kinda cool though ngl. He was fun and over the top and I appreciate that in a villain.

I am on my knees, begging, hoping we seen Vanitas in KH4. I think it would be funny to have him be revived with Sora and it go down like:
