Since we can conclude they aren’t good memories, it’s very likely Vanitas might remember. However, there is the possibility Vanitas doesn’t because of the time displacement but does remember Ventus’s time as Xehanort’s student, which is also very traumatic.

I think, because Vanitas did still in Sora’s Heart, Vanitas’s memory could bleed into Sora’s, but just a little bit. OR, if he were to return to Ventus, Ventus has the chance of regaining his past, but that’s only if Vanitas himself holds them.

Even then, the mind might not remember, but the Heart certainly does. So there will probably always be that pain from the Age of Fairytales.
