The final boss sequence at the end of kh2, though easier than kh1, is a step up in terms of scale and scope.

The giant dragon and the arena they fight in is called the world of nothiness, meaning Xemnas has control over the entire place their fighting. It's why he can throw buildings at them, create massive shockwaves, create black holes. The whole sequence to me feels like the one from Kingdom Hearts 1, but designed to be more action packed in a lot of ways.

You steadily take down parts of the construct until you get to Xemnas himself

Ansem does have that in the world of chaos but you also have a darkside fight and its slower in general

World of chaos is a more methodical sequence than world of nothiness

Darkside fight is like 1 minute or less

Ansem fights are cool though

I think the giant guardian attached to the world of chaos is one of the coolest heartless designs in the series.

And I meant the whole sequence Marly, it's slow paced not necessarily slower in total. But that goes for KH1 in general

As a whole I miss the things the bosses would change into when you got to the final battle.

The last game to do anything like that was 358/2 days.
