That's my idea

Others would say maybe a Keyblade that matches her theme or maybe something original

For me (especially in my Fanfiction of Kingdom Hearts; Wrath of Nobodies), I gave her the Oathkeeper. I know many fans prefer her wielding the Oblivion more often

The reason why I prefer giving the Oathkeeper to Xion is mostly because of the Seashell connection, and her connection with Kairi

My headcanon is that the O&O Keyblades weren’t usable in base KH3 because Square wanted to establish that they canonically belong to Roxas now

Even though they originally started off as just keychains for Kingdom Key

I always forget that component

Sora has always used the Kingdom Key, just with different keychains

I would love to see that change happen in a cutscene. The keychain being changed and the key morphing.

I tell you though. because I started KH when Chain of Memories came out

I didnt have a damn clue who this girl sora forgot at first was
