like i dont think anyone would say kh2 is even a "retro game"

though i think the new remixed collections do it justice

if you play the og kh2 on ps2 on the og jp or the North american non final mix kh2

yeah i bet that would feel dated

They absolutely nailed it with the art style

Also did a good job capture the sm64 feel, their engine felt "light weight" or how ever you will

Now that I think about it I wonder if using the og graphics would've helped Missing Stink's case

i think kingdom hearts 2 honestly ages much better than other games

the art style of kh2 is so good that it works in the modern day

and they should use that engine and maybe with a bit more polish with new graphics

we already know how anime like games can look with stuff like zenless zero

so kingdom hearts you could get to work properly looking like that

The og graphics just look so "nice"

Not next gen or hyper realistic, just

They should really try to run with it some more

Even more so now considering this day and age where somehow making the main character's 3d model costs like a billion dollars or some crap like that
