Also I actually dont really get the Radiant Garden geography, is the ruined castle in the distance the one in kh1 or is it the other one behind the bailey? Cause the one in kh1 seemed to be Ansem's main research lab. But then Ansem's research is all in the castle beside the bailey.

They both share similarities to the kh1 castle with the one behind the bailey looking more like it than the one in the distance where all the heartless are gathered.

And even without knowing that, where is the ruined castle in BBS and kh3 located

I'm pretty sure the main castle is the castle

Just the Bailey one

You can see cranes taking the pipes off of it

Yeah that's what I thought but now theres parts to it that make me think otherwise

Including the way Pete interacts with the ruined castle

And they recognise it as Hollow Bastion from viewing it

It's like that's where maleficent was supposed to be have her base of operations while he was away. And the circular table is there but not like the chapel. But Leon seems to refer to the ruined one as hollow bastion

I would like to think Villain's Vale is Maleficent's base before she took over the castle

Plus the ruined one is surrounded by a large crater almost like the waterfalls in kh1.

But it's all dried up

I imagine they still had construction to do since Radiant Garden still looked damaged.

Also the original hollow Bastion high tower area was in the kh2 trailer, so to me it would still exist I dunno

It just makes more sense to me that way

And they ended up not using Villain's Vane.

Yeha I dont like how kh3 radiant is now BBS radiant because the question of villains value to me pops up. Where is it in the 3 version? The main castle definitely looks more like kh1 hollow bastion than villains vale

But villains vale's surrounding area looks more like the one in 1

Except for the newer areas

I mean it's quite bare in BBS

And I wonder why Ansem would have research labs in 2 completely different areas, that's also what makes me think its the same building

But that's just BBS levels in general
