kh2 limited curing because they added so many new options to heal and block damage

com magic was where the series peaked

you cant spam cure, but you now have autoreloading items so you are likely to actually have full item slots

you can also heal with drives, go invincible with limits, and reflect replaces the spammable iframes from 1fm leaf bracer

which is also a nice addition too, the auto item

i actually really don't like the recharging mp though

it encourages you to just run away and camp out your mp bar, especially with glide

at end game you have all the movement tech to just hide

while in beginning you gotta run and block

At least in a kh1 style system you have to be a little aggressive to earn your cures

kh1's mp system also is interesting becuase of recharge overflow

I think that’s why I’ll like 7r too, cus the ATB is kinda like that

having situations where you have 2 bars and 1 orange chunk filled where if you use a 2mp spell before a 1mp spell you can get 3mp of spells off right away

but if you start with the 1mp spell you cant use the 2mp spell

so your spell ordering matters

there is an option to turn recharging off but I've never seen anybody use it

I didn’t know that either, I haven’t played enough KH1 to notice

I only played this game once

i guess you could turn off the recharge but it works less cause you cant smack enemies to regain mp

only ethers and orbs

(and drives)

I had no idea KH was a thing back in 2002

i didn’t even know the PS2 was a thing, I was still playing my original PS1
