that is a very bad argument no one ever thought it would but kh3 was still a ending, and it ended up teasing the next game much more then actually dealing with its own story

Well like a TV season actually. The last episodes end the season's main arc while introducing the next one's arc

So the transition happens smoothly, naturally

There's not a big "cut" between the two

If you treat 3 as a bridge game it works perfectly if you treat it the end of The Saga it really doesn't

If you like three then you like a bridge game

Here you have the conclusion of the first arc (wheter you like it or not), and some elements for the next arc, making a smooth transition
