It has a lot of systems interacting with each other simultaneously

It's pretty intricate with it's systems. Dream eaters play a huge role with not only the abilities they give but also the spells they can cast on you

It is command deck done right

Spirit Roar is busted.

I'd argue more busted than Balloon

I like how riku uses dream eaters more

Pretty much. While early game Riku's fusion is more powerful than Sora's links, those table turn quickly when you have to have spirit roar to do a solid amount of damage

Complete every Special Portal (doesn't count the post-game boss portals) for that side. That's 39 separate portals for each character, 78 in total for both Sora and Riku to have it. You only have to clear each portal though, completing the bonus objective isn't compulsory for getting End of Pain. If you're working towards it then prepare for a lot of dropping and forecast checking, but you get nearly ten trophies out of it in the 2.8 version (one for clearing all portals in any given world on both sides).

Riku's fusions also lack the invincibility frames Sora's links have, being more akin to command styles in Birth by Sleep.

Yeah that's another factor
