For a DS game, it's not so bad

Re:Coded was definitely better imo, but that's me

Days just has an eh story, terrible magic and gameplay mechanics, and every one of the bosses are just flat out terrible

it's a real shame

coded had a pretty useless story (the ending scene, that was the only interesting thing)

some of the music is good though

but gameplay-wise ?

It was enjoyable and it was a build up to what the end was

And without sacrificing the core principles the series was built upon

Even MoM feels like a regular KH, which I didn't expect

If you've only watched the Days movie, you haven't experienced the story proper

The original game is why so many love the writing so much

Not exactly, the movie's got everything except like 2-3 scenes

Movie cuts out all the fat and while that might sound good on the surface, none of the gut punches hit even slightly as hard

Yeah i watched in a playthrough that some scenes aren't present in the 358/2 movie

The story needs to be experienced over a normal game length, rather than 2 and a half hours to fully soak in

You can't grow as much with the characters via the movie

Most of the people who actually only like days like it cause of roxas and axel, anyway

Out of every KH game, Days is the only one I'll never touch again

Also, the movie cuts out how much of a sack of shit Saix is a lot of the time

As well as Roxas beating him up

I don't even understand why it couldn't be remade. Days doesn't rely on the dual screeens that much.

Like many, many, MANY DS games the second screen is useless
