In that the best way to play is to set up commands before

they added the sephiroth illusions in the game so jenovas may get a backstory

point of a remake is adding new stuff in

Like FF12, best way to play that game is to be on auto pilot

balancing in 7 is basically -> magic dominates the whole early game and during the endgame melee hits and buffs are dominating everything

summons are completely useless at the end
