Honestly the pokedex thing doesn't bother me, but the textures are not good. How can OoT trees look better than SW/SH? I mean there's other textures that were weird, but I'm still on the trees LMFAO

Like, SW/SH trees look so freaking nice far away

But, when you get closer it's like.....oh

the fact that pokemon is literally the largest franchise ever... it is absolutely unacceptable for them to cut corners with a mediocre product on a HOME CONSOLE... like you aren't doing handheld anymore... use your billions of dollars and give us a quality game...

They worked so many hours for this game and yet there's still stuff that are noticeably wrong. I feel bad for the workers at GF I really do. Japan work culture sucks ass in video game industry

But, they could have delayed it if they knew there were texture problems

Especially if you're making this game fully 3D, you need to make the textures look great

yea... i would much prefer they take their time and delay it. instead of just rushing it out to appease the fans... like FANS DON'T WANT A POKEMON GAME JUST TO HAVE IT!.. fans want a pokemon game that is good.. and since it's the first on home console... we expect one that lives up to the home console..

I have HRM and project management as minor btw and i asked my prof about crunch. And his answer was a little bit toxic but true. He said if sth like crunch happens then you are a bad project manager/ in general bad in your job and you should get fired

A failed project can ruin a company

Not like those companies are ruined

Because it's a hard job, fans need to understand that there cannot be such thing as "rushing" to get the game finsihed just so you the fans can get your preciois game early or on time. A lot of work, time and stress are put into making these awesome games. Also, sometimes it's not even the development teams' fault. It's the corporate themselves who also tell them what to do, etc. It seriously bothers me when fans complain and send death threats because they just don't understand anything about making video games. They don't understand what goes on in the company.

Blizzard is making more profit than ever

Well they aren't ruined yes but they could perform way better than now

If these mistakes wouldn't have happened

Their reputation is tarnished for sure

But in the case of blizzard i dont think it's the fault of the devs

It's more the upper ranks

It's frustrating for me because I majored in this. While I don't know what it's like to work in a company, I still understand the hard work and stress that the workers go through in the gaming industry

It sucks when you have people that rush you or yell at you to get a certain project done

yea. i mean i can fully appreciate all the hard work that is put into these games.. like it is NOT easy.. but that's what is so frustrating for me.. they put their heart and soul into it.. and then give us something mediocre still because they cater to a toxic impatient community..
