I think it's more important. The whole BBS journey is them going through a ton of shit and getting stronger in their own way with the keyblades reflecting that. Having them both suddenly downgrade from Ends of the Earth to Earthshaker and Stormfell to Rainfall feels way too weird

I really disagree, in the grand scheme of things, Aqua actually obtaining a Keyblade is way more important than random inconsistencies

You can't even have the up/downgrade without having a Keyblade in the first place

Also the upgrades were never discussed in canon, the Chambers actually were

It's not like she needed to go through hell and back to get that one keyblade, it was just in Radiant Garden with people who are on her side.

There isn't much that would have happened when she got it back

I never said that she had to, but it's annoying that one of the reasons for having Radiant Garden was dealt with so weirdly. In base KH3 they could have easily dedicated a subplot to it, and Xemnas could have easily been fought there. There's a 101 ways to make things interesting

Even in remind it could have been an excuse to make RG playable

Really I think both are important plot points but you can't say that in canon itself Aqua's keyblade wasn't give some importance seeing as it had like two whole cutscenes dedicated to it

I didn't mean to say that the one you want is unimportant, I just didn't think it's as important as the keyblade downgrade haha

There's a scene after you beat the last data org member. Basically fairy god mother comes in. Tells Riku she was sent by yen sid and merlin

Riku talks about a dream he had which is the secret ending of base kh3. And that apparently holds a clue to finding sora

She also says two more will be able to help, then winks. Game cuts to kairi sleeping and that's it
