For KH3 we went in with a pre-determined final act which forced the game to stall at every turn before getting us there while rethreading old characters and their roles with weak plot twists and resolutions

Too many things to do with too little time to do them because blah blah blah bad pacing rushed story production yadda yadda yadda

You know the story

But now with the next games we don't know where it's going, and more importantly that means that Nomura has much more room to write a compelling narrative with satisfying character interaction and good pacing because he isn't dead set on strangling the story to the end

You're right, there's a million fanfics that do the keyblade graveyard fight, from over ten years back even

And now with a sudden deeper step into the FNC aesthetic and stuff, it means that the next games may have a better balance between OG and Disney

And like 95% of those fanfics are just ridiculous in every way

So yes, things are looking up in a way
