i noticed in saix fight that after he does his combo thing and goes "expire" or "abandon hope" thing at the end of his combo he leaves himself wide open just as he hits the ground, so you just gotta roll into him when he does that and attack

also you dont get stunned when in forms if he throws stuff at you

you just take damage

I made to DM phase on Xehanort, but uh....yeah

his DM is alot like his fight in normal mode

you dodge the lasers then block the clones

Im struggling to dodge the lasers alone

I don't even understand the start of the fight. Block then dodge but it doesn't always work

i use counter kick to give me i frames in fights like these

then immdiatley block or dodge out of the counter

I'm not even sure which moves I can counter so it's astonishing I even made it that far earlier.

in the DM you can counter the dark clones i believe

but it wont do any damage

just gives good i frames from lasers

If I can avoid the lasers so I can block them

try to stay on the ground in his dm

it makes him easier to dodge

I'm mostly on the ground but the lasers are my problem during the moments I have grabbed the openings

you'll get it, i found him waaaaaaay easier once i figured out where his openings are

I've tried countering, blocking, dodging but the moment I go for an attack I'm getting hammered by 500 different things

theres some good openings that you can create

the one where he launches the blade thing at you?

I dodge put of the ice attack

i counted the number of ones he throws them at you and you can work around them by air sliding towards xehanort (not air dodge version) and rolling around them

The explosive device attack I've got the blocking down, just not the countering. The actual ice attack where he throws the X-Blade itself is the one I dodge out of ebtirely

thats actually one where you can give yourself an opening

for the keyblade throw you can actually stop that attack

not by air stepping towards him

you can use the flash step ability to knock it back at him, this will leave him open

my friend thinks his square button is broken because he's not blocking every time he should be

i told him to do a limit cut no-block run
