When you're close to doing a checkmate but suddenly your opponent asspulls 8 other pieces

even in a real chess game

like summoning 8 pawns into a game where the enemy pieces have the king cornered, doesnt do anything to prevent a checkmate

Unless they spawn right on the crossing line between attacking piece and king

which they didnt
