So far my favorite parts of re:mind are the playable characters, explorable Scala, the Guardians of Light vs Xehanort and the Story adding more to the original plot making it feel more complete.

like he needed to be either really really pissed off in that scene, or either really sad

Well, he was really pissed for 30 seconds

I think at this point Riku and Kairi don't know each other anymore

"If you do manage to summon kingdom hearts, we will defeat you. " kairi dies ?

Didn't know you had to be into someone to speak to them

riku also couldve done something like tell sora "no stop sora" when hes charging up to fight xehanort

after xehanort kills kairi

sora presses triangle and uses warp strike* Xehanort: wtf-*knocked out

did they go to kh

or just sort of float away

> The only issue
Kek

like old man nort did not deserve to have a peaceful death

which is why re:mind is better

f*cking blow him sky high

suck it xehanort

"my friends are my power, so get blasted"

kh3 was trying too hard to give him like this sappy ending

KH retconned his motivation at the last minute lol

Remember that meme that goes something like, "I used X to kill X"

MX be like "I used darkness to kill darkness"

he wanted balance in bbs

No, it's all over the place

but then he says theres too much light in kh bbs, then too much darkness in 3

First he wanted balance, then he wanted to see what a second keyblade war would bring, which you can see as being the method to bring balance, and then at the end of KH3 he says darkness is a plague that needs to be exterminated.

"There's too much darkness, so let me use darkness to diminish it"

laughsinnomura

At the end of KH3 I assumed he wanted to get rid of ALL the darkness

Which is not really bringing balance

Honestly I don't really know

I need to rewatch those cutscenes

I was half asleep when I watched it

because he uses words like perfect and bright

this is a translation error

in the kh3 cutscene he is still alluding to the idea that there is too much darkness, which is just not the case before xehanort started doing his thing

like xehanort remember, created artificial heartless

he cause darkness to grow stronger within the worlds

It's interesting because at first we think that Xehanort strives for balance because there's too much light, but at the end of the day it was actually the contrary

Too much darkness

But then at the end of KH3 he says there's too much darkness?

but in the final cutscene he does act like its darkness thats the problem

I don't get it

he also says it in his reports

It's just an awkward stunt

Xehanort trying to score some good guy points at the very end

they were trying to pull a thanos and they failed

"See, darkness is the problem, there's too much of it! That's why I used darkness to kill my best friend, create the aberration known as Vanitas and overall just firetruck with the lives of everyone. Because darkness is the problem"

Very cool

also had this whole plan to flood the worlds with so much darkness, that kingdom hearts breaks free from the realm of darkness

but ignore that

Wishing for balance is just BS anyway, we are always shown that darkness is the bad part of the light dark duo even if the games try to show them as two sides of the same coin

This one single well intentioned character uses the power of darkness for good purposes, therefore we must strive to have a perfect balance between the two forces despite everyone else who used darkness having ill will.

Darkness itself is just a power of nature, it feeds on negative emotions of people and turns them into monstrosities

In KH2 Mickey said that they weren't afraid of the darkness, but rather of those that lived in it.

Like that actually makes too much of a difference at the end of the day, so far the only light character that did wrong things was Eraqus and all he was trying to do was prevent the end of the world.

Meanwhile aside from Riku literally every single other darkness dweller has done bad things.

we need more people using light to do bad

the only problem is that the light in this franchise is by design made to be good

I'm not saying that Eraqus was justified morally, however his motivation was more justified pragmatically
