The mouth movements need to be edited

So iirc they leave like a buffer for them to work with

That still doesn't make sense for the awkward pauses

One way I can see this being a thing

Japanese use more words, so it flows better

English doesn't so the lines end before and you have to wait until what the japanese one ended on to continue from there

Because they didn't edit it all properly to flow better in the english one like they did japanese

Yet 7R did it for five languages

They also made a new tech with FF7R where the lip syncing is automatic

I mean

KH2 did it for five languages

So hopefully they use that in KH for the future

Although I hope they fix the automatic lip syncing cause the NPCs talking in side quests just look horrifying
