The 13 games felt like this sorta I guess

They had some narrow sections

I can't really recall an ff game having the amount ff7r has though, from what I've played

they all do, it's just that you have the world map between each corridor

but if episode 2 is like midgar it won't work

we need open areas

This game with brighter, open areas is my dream

It's gotta be more open in the next one, should be visiting a few different areas

A lot of this game didn't feel fun to walk around in with the exception of chapter 15 mainly. 9 to an extent

yeah the slums all look the same

Chapter 15 is by far my favorite point in the game.

The music and the visuals were incredible

we could get a giant prairie to catch a chocobo

but the easy way is to just bring back the world map

with cute chibi character or something

because, no world map would mean, no vehicles, and that would be really sad considering most of Cid's usefulness comes from that

Would it be in the realm of possibility that cloud dies instead of aerith in part 2

I don't see the point of that happening

Any reason why you had that idea

I think multiple things need to happen for that to occur in part 2

Cloud needs to learn about himself before the forbidden city

He needs to continue seeing visions of the futur

The character that dies needs to be both important narratively and have gameplay implications

In vii r he is the only character with a counter

It is such an important ability that no other character have. We can say oh barret shoots, but that can be dealt with with magic or using aerith

Cloud has one ability that no one else has

So killing him off will.leave not only a narrative void but a gameplay void like aerith's death did

So then it could sth like he knows when seph is gonna kill aerith and arrived at that moment he hesitates.... or he knows that aerith needs to die to stop meteor

But at the last moment hes like no there must be another way pushes aerith aside

He gets stabbed dinstead

End.

And aerith being able to commune with the planet will prolly be able to commune with him in part 3

Since hes still linked to sephiroth

Thru the lifestream and his connection to seph

I don't know. But if they want to reproduce the same death feeling

There has to be a character that had an impact both narratively and interactively
