Cuz last I opened it. I opened from the last save file and not the auto save file

and the last save was before you go in the light portal

Auto save files overrides everytime there's a new checkpoint

Beating the game should put you back in the menu as that's the next checkpoint, would be dumb if it didn't

Probably because I just grew up playing RPGs and stuff but not manually saving ever just sounds so weird

It has the same feeling of like not buckling your seat in the car

yeah same. the same with not rotating saves

Rotating saves it's something I don't do though
