That's such a weird thing to do

the way to progress through story is to collect the objective stars, with each song having 3 to collect. i would assume you could easily get 1 or 2 on each song even as a beginner to rhythm games so youd just have to play more songs to unlock the story

whereas pros could sweep through less songs and get more stars per song

That would make sense

It's just weird because in interviews and such when they announced it, they specifically said it's for people who don't like rhythm games but still wanna go through the game
