I got so done with AC when I heard that they killed off the main antagonist that transcends the entire timeline in a comic

It's hard to really say anything without major spoilers... but if you can't tell from my updated status message... Replicant is hitting pretty hard. Without major spoilers... let's just say that I don't think I've ever felt this way about characters that are basically... 'side characters'

Replicant good game

Damn, now I wanna replay replicant

I need to get nier at one point, i'll get it on ps4 just in case, no idea if the pc versions are still bad nowadays

Nier Automata got apparently fixed because people reviewbombed it on Steam

oh yeahhh
that PC port was never good huh

Automata is pretty bad, you really should set up some mods that helped with stability. That's what I did and I had an enjoyable experience

I played both on my ps5 and had no issues so ps4/ps5 is probably still the best way to play them

It's better after the patch but if you want a best out of the box experience, console is probably your best bet, but tbh the mods needed to set up are not difficult and you can keep it as minimal as possible

Replicant on the other hand plays wonderfully on PC

Modding will do

I did tinker a lot with game-fixing mods

(Looks at the sonic adventure duology)

Definitely recommend it on PC, it plays like a charm

And 1 specifically

Automata has a dedicated website specifically for not making the game run like ass

I can find it and like it to you if you want

Sure, i'll save it somewhere

Also, i do know of the microsoft store being a bit better, i'll check if that is compatible with mods

I found it, it's a nexusmods page but it's very thorough and indepth

I see

It's has every mod recommend and instructions on how to set it up

Tbh it's up to you if you wanna set up the mods to make it run nice or to just get it on consoles and have no fuss

Replicant definitely get on PC tho, it's good

As i said earlier, i'm used to tinkering for pc games

Fair fair, in that case, I'll send you the page

I have fun stories to tell regarding some issues i had and how i solved them, especially regarding emulation, old games and most importantly... The gpu drivers

Oh man, I don't doubt it

Recent updates made me consider getting a ps5 and i have a 2060

I've been trying to get my pro controller to work on my pc for my uh, switch games and I cannot for the life of me get it to connect

Fair, the day I got my ps4 controller working on my pc was the best one I've had since March 2020

Made the last months of isolation so much better, especially thanks to being able to use motion controls on dolphin or games that weren't made with that in mind but work much better that way (mainly racers and fpses)

Oh yeah that makes sense

I've been using my PS5 controller and I've been enjoying it

Ds4windows really is a blessing

Steam also has great support for it, but barely not as much
