There's things about Viz I don't particularly care for but I would argue about 60(?)% of the hate for is massively over inflated

They’re not romanticizing demons, it’s a story about redemption and how people can change if given a chance to.

They’re shitty people who have done shitty things and, if they want to get to Heaven, the have to WORK for it.

I would say Black Butler and Seven Deadly Sins are more guilty of romanticizing demons than HH.

pretty much that, yeah. romanticization is more like "demons aren't actually bad, they just get a bad rep" as opposed to "nah, these beings are 100% shitty, but they could do better and improve themselves if given the chance"

Like I dont care they wanted to do a "see Heaven is actually the bad guys the whole time you guys" thing, that's cool, you can tell a good story with that.

But- they're literally just written and designed so interchangeably from the demons it feels like a High School depiction of Angel's and Demon's lol

But then again, that's what she was going for, and it's clearly popular so, what do I know lol; just personal preference
