Your standards/expectations have fallen so low, that for you, a leaker potentially ruining surprises/confirming/de-confirming suspicions, rumors, etc. Is better than an official announcement/event that may say little or nothing

Leaks don’t necessarily ruin my experience for gaming events. Ones that spoil a games story do though. I actively avoid leaks though and don’t believe them because for one they can be wrong and two even if they’re right they can get details wrong.

Good example of a game being leaked but the details being totally wrong is super Mario 3D all stars. Leaks were pretty much saying that it included remakes of Mario 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy 1&2. What we got were semi-touched up emulated versions of Mario 64, sunshine, and Galaxy 1.

I feel the wind waker HD/ twilight princess HD rumormongers are taking the “broken clock is right twice a day” approach. They were predicting those back in 2017 and they’re still predicting them to this day.

At least that’s what the videos I scroll past on YouTube say lol. The ones with the fake cover art.

I try to block videos like that but they keep popping up on my feed.
