As someone who prefers vanilla P4 over P4Golden (with the exceptions of the Junes Concert and Ski Events), and someone who is currently perfecting her compendium in vanilla P4 on an actual PS2, I'm thoroughly unexcited for the P4 Remake. Especially after Persona 3 Reload. They got nitpicky as firetruck about fixing anything that might be problematic about P3 for the remake I can only imagine how much they'll nitpick P4. It'll for sure be borderline unrecognizable from what it originally was. Jesus Mary and Joseph Atlus just make Persona 6. I'm so glad they're thoroughly committed to ignoring the existence of Persona 1 & the Persona 2 duology because it keeps those games safe from being remade in politically correct forms for the snowflakes generation.
