Fillion was interviewed recently saying 1) he hopes they do batman punching Gardner at some point and 2) he knows Gardner could never take superman but knows that Gardner thinks he can take superman

Honestly I don't really care about it. To me

the El's doesn't matter much to me because their role in the story starts and ends with them sending Kal-el away. Whatever their reasons are doesn't mean much because who Clark becomes is because of the Kent's. It's much more important that they are done right because without that, Clark becoming Superman would just not feel right.

 

 

Starting the movie with Clark wanting to do right because his bio parents said so to ending it with Clark wanting to do right despite them works well enough for me

 

I am okay with Clark not exploring this more either in the future and instead show it through Supergirl because she (most likely) has some idea what was going on there

can agree with that it overall I just personally didnt like how James executed it on film, couldve been better ways of handling it.

That's fair, the pacing in this movie is a bit whack and did need just another 10 or so minutes

I am more fine with it than others though with what we got

Lowkey hope we get a Mr. Terrific spin off show
