Surprised they didn't even mention the cult

I think I hate everyone

Come on man, don't cape for this guy. His wrongdoings are well known at this point

victim blaming/shaming instead of realizing theres hard evidence of wrongdoings especially in this industry is willldddd

Nintendo doing that playtest thing again

Hmm how odd

For anyone on here that cares (or somehow has the money and is going I guess) apparently there's going to be a playable Pokemon Legends Z-A demo at Gamescom

The first time someone abuses you it's on them, the second time it's on you. Fool me once, fool me twice, and all that jazz. It's not about victim blaming or victim shaming. And especially when it comes to celebrities a lot of people just come out as "victims" to get financially compensated so well they can ride off into the sunset for the rest of their lives.

In some cases regardless of if the abuser was a pig the so called victim(s) get off scott-free of their own responsibility in the matter. The Diddy trial was a circus show precisely because of things like that.

No-one ever calls out the fact that we as human beings have a responsibility to ourselves first and foremost. If you're being abused, don't wait to report it! We're not living in the 1930s-1960s anymore people, there are so many resources available to help. All that anyone need do is make use of them.

curious how the rest of the week and raid race is going to unfold cuz people were able to get to 300 and get access to tier 4s and now people aren't going to be able to get to it nearly as fast

ah yes, too much fun farming the same mission over and over and over and over and over again

Grapple modifier made the encore mission pretty fun to farm

"The second time its on you" is in incredibly callous and not to mention just plain incorrect take, so much so I wanna hope its rage bait, but see the way you pretentiously worded the rest of that, I can tell this is all stuff you typed out before- probaly feeling really good about it too.

To choose to ignore power dynamics, and the psychology behind repeated behavior and chalk it all up to "victims should just stop being abused" in the same way that people say "ugh, if its so bad, why doesnt she just leave him", shows that we have failed to educate people properly about these things- cause only someone uneducated and ignorant would say shit like that and think they're right, especially in such a smug way too.

Need examples? Look at the women who tried to call out Cosby over the years, or Epstein, or Trump, or Hugh Heffner- many of them were pressured into or bribed into silence. People who are abused are often scared, and/or gaslit into thinking it's all their fault- and abusers utilize that to bully people into silence-- you'd know any of that if you had any actual life experience.

snake i know i tease a lot but in complete seriousness, thank you for speaking up

This spiel would work on me if I hadn't been an abuse victim once upon a time. And just because I wish victims would come forth before things got out of hand doesn't mean I lack sympathy or empathy for them. I do however despise the fact that right now victims (be they real or imagined) can say anything and people will just believe them without question, or are expected to believe them by default.

WTF. OK. Whatever. Real talk though: Just keep in mind you went on a tangent about victims and victimology and psychology to a female who was an abuse victim once upon a time and has studied psychology extensively while attending college. All because I don't have the same mentality about victims that you do/that's accepted as the current status quo.

I feel like if you had studied victimology and psychology, you would know the dangers of speaking out against an abuser, I don't think you can just shrug off accusations against a celebrity because "oh people do it just for financial gain", which that is something that we have seen occur before, in this case that brought this up, I do believe there has been hard evidence on this case of abuse occurring. There's a lot of factors that go into it, like the fear of abuse getting worse when reporting due to not being able to have resources needed to get out of those situations. I agree that it would be best if people reported instances of this earlier, but there's more nuance to it than that

And youre currently talking to someone who's mom and dad were in abusive relationships, we can go deep on this shit bro

Even if I didnt come from that, I've spent time talking to and knowing people who've been through those situations instead of just reading about it from some textbooks in a classroom- if you want to blame yourself for something that wasnt your fault, thats your decision, but dont force that shitnon other people like you know better or youre the de facto voice

Empathy is not a weakness, and stoicism is not a cure for pain. You'd do well to remember that

I don't think she lacks empathy, she mentioned being empathetic towards victims in the post that didn't show up for us on discord
