I know LRG has a very bad rep but it’s better than nothing.

If I recall limited run games has had multiple instances of orders being extremely late and then they come out and say oh yeah we haven't even begun production yet

like spikeout was saying, this is happening throughout discord, not just for me

they have only the northern crater left. they will probably end the game with the patch where og FF7 ended and will sell it later as a single player remake for og ff7

seems like that's pretty much what they are doing

No more sephiroth backstory, the evil is dead

pretty much don't invest in a gacha that has a definitive end

EC survived 3 years btw

that's pretty good for a gacha

was it even a decent story at all, or was it largely irrelevant (or worse: actively harmful to the story)?

everything added to FF7 after the original game was actively harmful to the story 😔

Nah there's a lot of stuff in Rebirth that made it better but also some stuff that made it worse but overall it has gotten better

OG FF7 has terrible world building which got fixed by rebirth

Yuffie and Vincent are barely in the game

And nanaki has barely any real story

All the lore additions and story additions easily outweight the plot ghost bullshit

Also they fixed Tifa in Rebirth and the story makes sense now

OG FF7's entire story falls apart in the first 5 hours of the game

Remake trilogy will hopefully fix the terrible ending of og ff7
