I got the first vision you get out in the world, that was pretty cute how they did it

Yeah I really wish the vision cinematics were in the hd2d style

The way they did it in the prologue was great

they needed to reuse their mobile game assets somewhere i suppose lol

the hd2d cinematics make look octopath really cheap

they increased the budget on resonance a lot

I am very curious how the mobile game looked

the game has actual cutscene direction

unlike octopath

it was a mission selector

iirc brave exvius starts on the airship

so all the cutscenes and cinematics before the airship to the earthshrine didn't happen in the og

probably a combination of higher budget and just a team more experienced overall. hd2d is just an in house engine, its still up to the actual development teams to make full use of it the way they know how to

I hope they make more games like this. I was already hyped for Resonance but the demo surpassed my expectations

making me more excited to try it tomorrow

especially in terms of difficulty

the first boss on hard felt like a smt game

its a really great game

I was so shocked that I died in a turn-based FF game
