KH2 on easy and normal mode doesn't play like critical. even crit lvl 1 is a completely different game compared to crit. The majority of players will never interact with summons in Kh2

or even limits

KH2 is just a button masher game on easy mode

you don't even need to guard

or use magic

I'm not saying anything about the story snakey boi

I'm saying that playing through a 3 hour tutorial is a slog

you can't say the systems of a game are better than that of another when you never have to interact with said systems.

But, now here me out, isn't this a good thing?

actually never having to interact with the system is a minus point for KH2

You're not allowed to have preferences if you don't engage with literally every system i giess

Think about it- it means that people who only wanna do 1 playthrough or focus on the story can do that, but if you replay, do a challenge run, or do a hard difficulty first, the depth is there to find

also back to this real quick, its so unfair of everyone to compare 2fm with base 3, but what makes it worse is that 2 is ONLY ever sold as 2fm now while you can still get 3 base without the updates of remind so it's harder to think of it as a single package like people still do with 2fm

I don't think it's a good thing. It actually works against KH2. KH2 also never properly explains its mechanics to players nor the leveling system of drive forms. it's super ass tbh. Easy mode in KH2 is not handled well. It's the worst part of the game
