I think the worst part is, there isn't one going the other way

this could be more easy to swallow if there just was a balanced Hard mode from the beginning

Dynamic is nice and all but that's not the same

Like lets use control as an example as its sequel is coming tomorrow

In the original game they have the option to tweak your health, attack and power up to whatever you are comfortable with so you can essentially make yourself invincible

That's fine as an option but it is there

Resonant on the other hand has the same thing but also you can tweak it the other way too

Enemies can deal more damage, you have less health etc etc

At least that way you cater to both people

if you wanted an easier time you do dynamic but the constant need to make it even more to the point of not even using the systems and PLAY THE GAME is nonsense

Dynamic didn't scale down though, it only scaled up
